Doctrinal Statement
The Bible (God's Word)
The Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired, inerrant in the original manuscripts and preserved by God in its plenary, verbal inspiration. It is a divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life.
The Godhead
The Godhead exists eternally in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - and those three are one God. God by His sovereign choice and act of love for man, sent Christ into this world to save sinners.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, taught and performed mighty works and wonders exactly as revealed in the four Gospels. He was crucified on a cross, died as a penalty for our sin, was raised from the dead bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father's right hand where He is Head of the church and intercedes for believers. He will come again personally, bodily, visibly to this earth to set up His Millennial Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a person, is God, and possesses all the divine attributes. He indwells all believers, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, and fills them in response to confession of sin and yieldedness.
Salvation
Salvation with its forgiveness for sins and its impartation of a new nature, is entirely separate from good works, baptism, church membership, or man's effort. Salvation is totally by grace through faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9
Spiritual Maturity
Spiritual Maturity occurs through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit.
