Fred Overton, Jr., former head basketball coach at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and a nation-wide motivational speaker, was gloriously saved in 1980 under the preaching of Dr. Charles Stanley. In the 80's, he was in full-time secular sales work, taught adult Sunday School at First Baptist Atlanta and attended Luther Rice Seminary by correspondence.
In September 1991, Fred was called into full-time Christian work teaching his seminar "Is the Bible Reliable?"
Since then he has developed additional seminars: "The Tabernacle in the Wilderness", "Heaven", "Foundational Truths of Scripture", "Revelation", "Rightly Dividing the Word" and his latest seminar "From Here To Eternity".
His teaching ministry is now nation-wide.
